ShiftManager — Online Scheduler for Emergency Services

This SaaS scheduling solution was developed especially for public safety organizations. Thanks to our client on this project, the former paramedic, it is perfectly tailored to the needs of fire departments and medical emergency services.

Being PHP-based, the scheduler is accessible online 24/7 and emergency personnel can always keep an eye on their schedule.

There are three main units in the system: employees, units and shifts. Every employee is assigned to one or several units (a unit is, e.g., a driver + 4 firefighters + a paramedic), and always stays informed of his shifts — when, how many hours and with what team he is assigned to work. The employee can also trade his shifts, watch on trade suggestions, read news and communicate with colleagues via an internal messenger or on the forum.

Administrative personnel can conduct reports on worked, signed up, traded shifts and time off, and export the reports as Excel, CSV or PDF files.
