iVite allows users to create and send calendar events to friends as well as manage their created and received events, guest lists, and RSVPs. The main benefit and innovation of this application is that these events are delivered by push notifications. This guarantees that a recipient gets the invitation. Once an iVite is sent through the server, the recipient immediately receives a push notification. They can view the event details through a custom invitation and then decide whether to accept or decline the event (or decide later).
