Clear IP — AI-Driven Platform for Idea Capture and IP Documentation

We developed a web application that helps innovators formalize and organize their ideas — a product that has since been featured among Ireland’s “Hot 100 Startups”. The system guides users through a structured, configurable survey — in text or audio form — and stores the collected information in a secure idea vault. Alongside idea creation, the platform supports user management, reviewer permissions, tools and materials.

As part of the platform’s evolution, we introduced an AI-powered document builder. Based on the user’s survey responses, the system generates structured document drafts using large language models and assembles them into ready-to-download files stored in the cloud. These drafts can form the basis for patent applications, helping users efficiently create invention disclosures, technical descriptions, and other formal IP documentation.

The platform also includes a flexible administrative interface for managing surveys, documents, users, and supporting materials. Deployment and maintenance processes are fully automated, enabling smooth updates and reliable operation.

Overall, we delivered a secure, extensible foundation that combines structured idea capture, patent-ready documentation, and AI-assisted workflows — giving users a streamlined way to protect and develop their innovations. Contributing to a product that enables users to turn ideas into intellectual property was a rewarding experience, and we’re pleased to have played a part in its growth within the innovation community.
