Providers bid on the assignments they are interested in. At this point client discusses terms of the job with providers who have bidden. The final choice of the surveyor can be based not only on the discussed price, but also on the customer satisfaction reviews and provider qualifications authenticated for a fee by the site management. Therefore, customer can be sure that he hires a competent surveyor for the best price.

Providers, working in the marine surveying industry, are constantly searching for new clients. Using Sealance they can create searchable profiles with provided details of their skills and expertise, and easily follow when new jobs in certain areas are posted. Through the customer review system, providers are also able to achieve merit levels to distinguish themselves as a trusted provider and further promote their services.
