Speech4Good — Interactive voice, fluency, and articulation therapy app

Speech4Good can be used in many different ways by a speech-language pathologist to provide therapy for people who have different communication disorders. It can be used to help treat articulation disorders, narratives, voice disorders, and sentence formulation.

The Speech Center tab is the heart of the app. An oscilloscope shows speech visually as the user speaks at the top of the page. Waves become more amplified as the volume increases. This option can be turned on and off. With Delayed Auditory Feedback (DAF) you are able to choose how much of a delay the application will provide via a scrolling bar that can be set between 20 and 300 milliseconds. Up to 10 minute samples of speech can be recorded. The DAF can be used, for example, for fluency students. The voice recording works for kids with articulation and expressive language treatment as well. Here you can record your speech session and save it to the Library and share it through email, Facebook, or Twitter.

Library is where saved sessions will be kept in a list format by title and the date the session was conducted.

The Sharing tab will show a list of sessions you have shared with others and how you shared them (via e-mail, Twitter, or Facebook).

Account is where the user chooses which social media accounts to use with the application.
This app is designed for both iPhone and iPad.
