Darnford — Service for Tracking the Flow of Visitors in an Amusement Park

An amusement park has a system for tracking the flow of visitors. The system records each visitor’s ride with the help of RFID scanners on the visitors’ bracelets. The recording can be executed from 3 cameras channels simultaneously.

There are two main ideas behind the system:
1) increasing the level of safety by recording the launching of the rides;

2) creating videos for visitors, the recording is initiated once the visitor comes to the ride and can be purchased afterwards.

For this already existing system we’ve created a cloud database with JSON REST API access for storing and sharing video files.
We also implemented Windows software to interact with a settable number of scanners, relays, and timing software and developed an iOS app for iPad to read wristband numbers through the usb-scanners.
