Animux — Free Operating System for Animators
From the perspective of its idea, this project is among the most beautiful ones Sibers team has ever worked on.
You’d be the judge: 1) designed to popularize the art of animation, 2) being absolutely free, and 3) wholly taking technical issues out of the exciting animation process, Animux lets creativity be the only limitation for both, hobbyists and professional animators.
Providing access to 50+ tools, this Linux-based operating system handles all the tasks from pre-production, through production to post-production work. The custom distro can be downloaded in the form of an .img or .iso file, be written on USB or CD and then be run, respectively, from liveUSB or liveCD.
Animux comes with an autoinstaller, applying preconfigured hard drive partition settings, and a manual installer, allowing user to pick the hard disk partition according to their need.
Back in 2009 Animux was a really cool free tool set for animation, and it still is, being available for download till nowadays and showing Sibers team’s experience with Linux-based systems customization.

My father always told me: "If something were easy to do, the world would already be doing it. Greatness lies in accomplishing something that the world thought was impossible to achieve." Sibers team has been doing just that for over a year.
The team has been excellent for over a year, being able to solve issues with the creation of Animux which many thought was nearly impossible. They have amazed me with their problem solving skills in Linux, C programming, Shell programming and many-many topics.
Someday we envision there would be people who are economically challenged in 3rd world countries would aspire to be animators who can win an Oscar or work towards a more modest goal of providing for their family.
